Fall General Membership Meeting (CEU Pending)

Please join MRPA for the 2025 Fall General Membership Meeting.  Hear from the MRPA board and council members, as well as the MRPA staff. 

Location: Pip Moyer Recreation Center (273 Hilltop Ln, Annapolis, MD 21403)

Workshop: 

"Grounded in Grace; Nurturing Wellness Through Nature and Mindfulness Programming"

This one-hour CEU-eligible program explores how mindfulness, environmental education, and recreation can bridge generational wellness gaps for both youth and senior citizens. While today’s culture embraces yoga and meditation among adults, many youth between ages five and eighteen lack consistent access to such restorative practices. Similarly, many seniors seek balance, healing, and emotional grounding in later life. Through reflection, dialogue, and a 15-minute guided meditation, participants will learn to integrate inclusive, nature-based approaches that enhance emotional well-being and community connection.
