MRPA – Professional Learning Community:  Marketing & Communications

 

Tuesday, February 3, 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Zoom. REGISTRATION OPENING SOON!

 

Goals:

  • Network with other marketing & communications professionals.
  • Create a community to share ideas, best practices, and resources.
  • Present recent projects and content.
  • Discuss timely marketing & communications topics

Meetings: Quarterly


Meeting Format:


Each meeting will be hosted by a different county marketing/comms department.


-Spotlight Presentation

  • The host county shares a campaign, event, or tactic and key learnings from the project.

-Roundtable Show & Tell

  • Each county briefly shares one of the following: a recent marketing project/campaign they are proud of, a resource/tool they are excited about, a surprising insight or data point they recently learned, or an idea they are working on.

-Discussion Topic of the Day

  • Open group discussion of a marketing-related question, topic, or challenge kicked off with a quick poll or question.

Examples of topics:

  • Engaging specific demographics
  • User-generated content and contests
  • Multi-lingual messaging and translation
  • Accessibility online and in printed materials
  • AI Tools and Tips
  • Social Platforms
  • Paid Advertising
  • Crisis Communications
  • Waivers, Permissions, and Privacy
  • Brand Standards
  • Park Signage
