Marketing & Communication PLC Virtual Meeting:  Understanding Maryland's Plain Language Initiative

Maryland's Plain Language Initiative requires state agencies to use plain language in their written communications. But what exactly does that mean for your organization?  Dan Doggett, IT Accessibility Program Specialist with the Maryland Department of Disabilities, will share best practices for writing clear, concise, and effective content that aligns with state standards. You'll also learn about the Maryland IT Accessibility Initiative and discover accessibility resources available to support your agency's communication efforts.
